nice place to stay in mattoon, if compared to other hotels. its easy base for sightseeing and exploring mattoon. pleasant and accommodating stuff as one would expect. this hotel offers particularly good and great location so close to restaurants and store. besides, meadowview golf course is 15 minutes' drive away.

The room is musty.

All the staff was nice and courteous, solved my issues. The location was favourable and marvellous - walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go.

If you need extra comfort, ask for a room with a fridge and microwave. They are very handy during your stay.

Everything was superb.

I booked a room at this motel for one night due to a last-minute trip. My first room had a huge cricket sitting on the curtains, and there were animal hairs on the sheets. I called the front desk, and they switched me to a different room. The second room looked cleaner, no bugs around, and the sheets smelled fresh. In the morning, I did find two crickets and a spider in the shower faucet, unsettling. They recently remodeled, a plus. The motel served its purpose for a night, but I probably won't return.

The bed here was super comfy, the bathroom was spotless, and I loved having climate control and lots of TV channels in the room! 😊
